Your responsibilities

As a Junior Quality Engineer, you will support the Quality Manager in implementing, monitoring and improving the company's quality and food safety management systems.

  • You will participate in and oversee quality management throughout the manufacturing, packaging and transport processes.
  • You collaborate in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures.
  • You analyze production and quality control data to identify areas for improvement (monitoring of indicators, monthly audits, etc.).
  • You contribute to the management of projects linked to continuous quality improvement.

Profile / Skills required

  • You have a bachelor's degree or an engineering degree in quality, or equivalent experience.
  • At least one year's convincing experience in the agri-food sector

  • You are familiar with audit methods and other quality tools (cause analysis, etc.).

Functional analyst

Role & Responsibilities

The Functional Analyst optimizes business processes by translating functional requirements into the ERP framework, in order to improve efficiency and decision-making. He/she ensures the integration of ERP solutions and guarantees their successful adoption within the organization.

Your main responsibilities:

    • Analyze business requirements in detail: Collaborate with the business departments of the various companies to challenge and prioritize their needs within the framework of specific projects.
      • Definition of functional requirements: Define precise functional impacts.
      • Gap analysis and target process proposals: Compare the AS IS processes of the different companies and define the TO BE processes of the whole, taking the best of current solutions.
      • Lead requirements gathering workshops: frame and lead workshops with business stakeholders to verbalize and understand ERP processes, interfaces and tool requirements.
    • Build visual documentation: Draw AS IS and TO BE flow diagrams for the various processes, to formalize, clarify and easily share knowledge.
    • Testing and validation: Participate in the testing, quality assurance and validation phases of the proposed solutions.
    • Become the functional referent for the 2 existing ERPs: Mellow wishes to internalize functional knowledge of the various existing ERPs, and the analyst will gradually become the referent for the existing ERPs as the project progresses.
    • Change management: participate in the training and drafting of support materials for end-users to ensure successful adoption of the new solutions.

Profile & Skills required

  • University degree ideally with a commercial, engineering, IT or scientific orientation,
  • Significant experience (min. 4 years) in IT functional analysis, ideally
    • around an ERP system,
    • in a food industry environment,
  • Advanced command of spoken and written English. Knowledge of Dutch is an asset.

  • You use electrical measuring equipment (multimeter, etc.) and test equipment (pressure, flow, vibration, etc.).
