Job responsibilities

As a line pilot, you're the expert on your line, doing everything you can to get the best out of it in terms of team management, equipment settings and anticipating problems.

You pass on your knowledge to your colleagues in order to develop all your team's skills.

Your responsibilities:

    • You prepare the line efficiently.
    • You adjust each element of the line to get the best performance: speed, weight, product quality, etc.
    • You have a critical eye for quality, safety, productivity and machine efficiency.
    • You are able to carry out first-level repairs.
    • You communicate with your teams, give them objective feedback, ensure cohesion and support new employees.
    • You train your teams: observing, coaching, demonstrating best practices and passing on your knowledge.
    • You pass on important information to Team Leaders and other departments.
    • You are a strong source of suggestions for improving the line's operation, bringing in ideas, suggestions, critical opinions, etc.

Profile required

  • You are able to manage a team in a caring manner.
  • You are familiar with or able to assimilate all quality/safety/production procedures and all instructions relating to the sector.
  • You have a technical background in1st line maintenance.
  • You are willing to work in 3 shifts.
  • Experience in the agri-food sector is an asset.

Assistant production line operator

As part of our expansion, we are looking for an Assistant Production Line Operator for our Leuze-en-Hainaut site.

Your responsibilities

The role of the Assistant Production Line Operator, working alongside the Line Operator, is to ensure that manufacturing operations run smoothly on the production line assigned to him/her by the Workshop Manager, in order to achieve production targets in compliance with established rules.

  • You ensure compliance with the various rules applicable within the workshop (HACCP, production line settings, maintenance of lines, kitchens, storage area and cleaning room, compliance with scanning rules in the ERP system, clean lines at the end of the day).
  • In general, you are responsible for ensuring that safety, hygiene and quality rules are properly applied.
  • You welcome, support and train staff for the job
  • You monitor the SLED of incoming and outgoing raw materials on a daily basis.
  • Carry out first-level maintenance and work in collaboration with the technical department
  • You work closely with the quality department, and inform them immediately of any anomalies observed.

Profile / Skills required

  • You have at least one proven experience in line management
  • You have already managed a team of 4 to 5 people
  • You have already worked in the agri-food sector
  • Excellent knowledge of HACCP rules
  • You have already used an ERP system
  • You are proactive and reactive
  • You are a good teacher and a good communicator.

Research & Development Leader

Mission and background

Join Mellow as a Research & Development Engineer and actively contribute to the innovation and continuous improvement of our dessert products.

You will play a key role in the development of new products and the optimization of industrial processes, in close collaboration with internal teams, in a structured, demanding and quality-oriented environment.

Role & responsibilities

  • Supervise, organize and support the two R&D team members; prioritize projects, monitor objectives and contribute to the development of their skills.
  • In collaboration with the Group R&D Manager, respond to sales department requests and customer expectations.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of products and processes, taking into account industrial feasibility, budgetary constraints and regulatory requirements.
  • Plan, organize and monitor R&D tests and sample production in coordination with the production, quality and planning teams.
  • Analyze test results (sensory, technological, microbiological) and propose appropriate action plans.
  • Support teams during industrialization phases to ensure product and process conformity.
  • Monitor project documentation and ensure compliance with certification requirements (BRC/IFS).

Profile & skills required

  • Engineering degree or scientific Master's specialized in agri-food or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in a similar position, ideally in dessert processing.
  • Solid expertise in product development and industrial process optimization.
  • Rigor, analytical mind and ability to manage cross-functional projects.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Good command of IT tools (Pack Office) and regular use of English.

Key Account Manager

Join Mellow as a Key Account Manager and take charge of the development and management of strategic key accounts.

You can work from our Villers-le-Bouillet site or our Leuze-en-Hainaut site, depending on your preference.
You will be at the heart of customer relations and play a key role in the Group's commercial growth, working closely with internal teams in an international, entrepreneurial and committed environment.

Role & responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of export customers and partners, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the food retail sector.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify new opportunities and develop existing accounts.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting on key account performance and market insights.
  • Coordinate internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Respond to customer requests and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Conduct commercial negotiations and manage disputes.
  • Participate in trade shows, customer meetings and sales presentations.
  • Contribute to sales forecasting and planning processes.
  • Maintain an active watch on industry trends and best practices in order to propose relevant and up-to-date solutions to customers.

Profile & skills required

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in account management, sales or similar role,
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a sense of customer service and a taste for negotiation.
  • Analytical, rigorous and results-oriented.
  • Ability to evolve in a fast-paced, international and collaborative environment.
  • Autonomy, flexibility, team spirit and strong desire to learn.
